Our third S.A.Y. Yes! Center is opening Monday, October 27th!
Turmoil and suffering are not uncommon in the news today, but perhaps nothing is more frightening or more heart-wrenching than the state of our nation’s youth. A large proportion of youth are becoming more dysfunctional, angry, and violent with each passing day. Instead of godly values governing their decisions, drugs, alcohol and peer pressure influence them.
We as Christians know that there is a solution. We can offer youth the greatest alternative of all…the hope of new life in Jesus Christ. In the aftermath of the 1992 Los Angeles riots, a vision was born in the heart of Dan Pryor, the former director of Here’s Life Inner City in Los Angeles, and Dr. John Perkins, founder of the Christian Community Development Association. That vision became S.A.Y. (Save America’s Youth) Yes! Centers for Youth Development. S.AY. Yes! is an after-school Christian mentoring program that addresses the challenges of children who live in the inner city by giving them something to “S.A.Y. Yes!” to.
To help youth develop a lifelong, dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ
